Each residence hall has a laundry facility with washers and dryers. The cost of laundry is included in student rent, and there is no additional fee for use of the machine.
Is there cable television in the residence halls? The cost of cable television is built into the room rate. What is a Microfridge? University Housing provides a Microfridge in all residence hall rooms except in apartment-style halls. It is a combined microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. May I bring my own refrigerator or microwave?
Students are not permitted to bring their own refrigerator because the microfridge appliance is already in the room. Residents in the apartment-style halls may bring a microwave and it should not exceed watts. Each residence hall has a post office in the lobby of the building for students to receive their mail.
Students are given their post office box combinations at check-in. Packages are delivered to a central locker location on campus. You may ship packages prior to the move-in day. However, it is best to wait until you have received your room assignment as your room number will be your post office box number and should be included on your package.
