Back to Topic Listing Previous Next. Filter by Lables. Message 1 of 3. Scale layouts and zoom xp command. Hi, I have a question about scaling a layout. I draw everything in model space at a 1 to 1 scale. So, for example, if I want a m line I draw a m line.
I then switch to a layout tab, do the page setup box, and then create a viewport. In the page setup box I select my plot scale as "" and "1 mm is equal to 1 units. I double click to make the model space active and use the 'zoom xp' command to scale the drawing.
If I want a scale of I enter 'zoom' and then '1xp'. My drawing is now scaled at I print it out, as mentioned, at When I look at the viewport scale control box after completing the zoom xp command, it shows "" and not "".
Why does it show the scale like it does? I know my drawing is scaled properly because it measures properly with a scale bar after printing. Thank you in advance for the assistance.
